2023: Only Nigerians Who Love Suffering Will Vote APC – Abdullahi

A former Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi, has said only Nigerians who love suffering will allow the All Progressives Congress (APC) to continue in power in 2023.

Abdullahi stated that the ruling party has ruined the country and Nigerians have suffered enough under the Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial candidate for Kwara Central stated this in an interview with journalists in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Abdullahi said the APC has failed the country in all indices of development and Nigerians must be careful not to return it to power across all levels.

The former minister said nobody should even be talking about APC again after failing in different sectors, adding that the next election is going to be the PDP and any other party.

He said, “You have to have a love for suffering to even consider voting for APC again after how they have ruined this country.

“If not for the way things are, nobody should even be talking about APC again after the mess they have brought to the country. The next election is going to be the PDP and any other party but APC.”

Muslim-Muslim Ticket: CAN Speaks On Making Deal With Bola Tinubu

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has distanced itself from reports claiming that it has made a deal with the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Naija News reports that some Nigerians, including CAN, had berated Tinubu and the APC over its choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 general elections.

Tinubu had picked a former governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima as his running mate, a controversial move have been met with backlash.

Reports emerged on Monday claiming that Tinubu met with the leadership of CAN over the Muslim-Muslim ticket controversy.

But in a statement signed by the Special Assistant on Media to CAN leadership, Luminous Jannamike, titled, ‘Muslim-Muslim Ticket: CAN maintains its position,’ the association said it had not reached an agreement with Bola Tinubu.

CAN maintained that its opposition on the contentious Muslim-Muslim ticket remain unchanged.
