One firefighter was injured as Waukegan Fire Department battled three blazes in 36 hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Larry Mackey, the director of environmental health with the Lake County Health Department, said he has received 32 complaints from members of the public about indoor dining and drinking at bars around the county.
Waukegan police investigate the third homicide within one week.
Damar McDonald, 32, also of Waukegan, who is accused of firing the shot that killed Nunnally, remains at large.
Members of the Waukegan People’s Council issued their demands through a megaphone on the sidewalk in front of Moisio’s home starting around 11 p.m. and continuing until just after midnight amid what they described as a large police presence.
After police responded to the report of a shooting Saturday on McAlister Avenue, they found a woman in the street with a gunshot wound, according to Waukegan police. She was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
